As a dental manufacturer, we strive to find new innovative ways to switch to renewable and recyclable materials for our products and packaging while maintaining product safety. In the past few years Orsing has been actively looking into ways to reduce its share of greenhouse gas emission and recently introduced a product line entirely manufactured from renewable resources. Orsing’s ”bio” line includes Hygoformic Bio, Hygoformic Bio Adaptor, Hygovac Bio, Hygovac Bio Vent and the dental cup Bio Cup made of bamboo fibers.

With the intention of leading the change towards replacing fossil-based raw materials with renewable resources, Orsing proudly takes its environmental engagement to a new level and switches the entire production of its most popular item, the coil-design saliva ejector with tongue holder Hygoformic, to 100% bio-based PE entirely made from sugar canes (Green PE).

By using bio-based polyethylene as raw material, the carbon dioxide level in the atmosphere can decrease, which is a significant factor for our planet and future generations. The average dental clinic uses and discards hundreds of essential consumables such as saliva ejectors every day. Together with you, we will decrease our output of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by 385 tons simply by replacing fossil PE/PP Hygoformic with sugar-cane based Hygoformic Bio.

As of October 1st, the traditional white Hygoformic will therefore be a thing of the past. Hygoformic Bio, entirely made of fossil-free renewable raw materials, is packed in industrial compostable and biodegradable bioplastic.
